Are Mandatory Vaccines New?

Vaccines have become a subject of great controversy in recent months but the requirement to have them is far from new. From George Washington inoculating the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, through the 1905 Supreme Court ruling mandating vaccines in the interest of public health and right up to the controversies of the modern-day.
