This episode covers the case of Marion Parker from the year 1927, followed by an episode of the radio play Dragnet which did a dramatization of the story back in 1949. Dragnet was a radio series which ran on NBC from 1949 to 1957 and then continued on as a television series. It featured real crime cases that had occurred in Los Angeles.
