Ep 4 - Living Yoga: Rachel Zinman's Inspiring Story of Diabetes Management and Resilience

Rachel Zinman has been practicing yoga since 1983, teaching since 1992 and teaching teachers since 2000. She's studied with some of the most influential teachers in the west including Alan Finger and Mark Whitwell as well as immersing herself in the study of Vedanta. Her misdiagnosis story began in 2002 and took 6 years for her to finally get a proper type 1 diagnosis.

Yoga is a vital part of her lifestyle helping her to manage the emotional and physical demands of type 1 diabetes. Rachel shares how she's faced difficulties through the highs and lows and hormonal changes in menopause. She is the Author of Yoga for Diabetes, How to Manage your Health with Yoga and Ayurveda, and includes beautiful pictures and inspiration to really take up a yoga practice and find the right yoga practice for you. She writes for many online and in print magazines including Australian Yoga Journal and Australian Yoga Life.
