#327 Roe v Wade is Gone. Here's How I Processed it.

The day has come. 50 years of a horrible supreme court decision has come to an end. But we are far from seeing the end of abortion in our country. I wrestled with my response to this ruling as a recent shift from pro life to abolitionism has provided a framework that complicated my response. You see many singing the praises of this decision and I agree it is good, but it is not the end all be all and in abolitionist terms, it's small potatoes. I'm curious to know your response to the decision and your thoughts on what I said here. The Website Free the States

#326 A Homeless Man Chases Me In Downtown Springfield!

#326 A Homeless Man Chases Me In Downtown Springfield!

Yup the title says it all. I was minding my own business and a raging homeless man took that as a slight and decided to pursue me to do what I can only assume would be what he did to that poor plant in a park minutes before. Do you have any crazy encounters similar? If so I want to hear them! The Website

I field a question relating to dog breed categories and we get an update on how I've been doing with my Norwegian Goodbyes. The Website

My Mother in Law, Alayna, has lived with Leukemia for the past 24 years. By a miracle 24 years ago she found herself in the right place at the right time and was able to get on medication that all but eliminated her cancer and took her from a prognosis of 6 months to live to 'as long as the medicine works.' That medicine has worked for 24 years allowing her to live a more or less normal life and see her kids grow up, get married, and even see her first grandchild. Her story is an incredible one that you just have to hear. The Website

#323 Sturdy Gal Shades and Africa's Throwing Sand

As the title indicates this is a quite silly episode. With the help of Connor I come up with a new business idea for more durable items, specifically sunglasses. We are actively looking for investors in this totally not thought out at all but sure fire idea. Secondly, I explore the weird thoughts that come from random happenings in the world, like Sahara dust rising, crossing the ocean and hitting Houston. All that in one whacky podcast! The Website

#322 A Sliced Finger Turned into the Best Knife Sales Pitch!

Yup the title is not click bait and I've got the cut and pictures to prove it. But if you want to know how to turn a sliced finger into a sales opportunity then this is the episode for you! Funny thing about really nice knives is when turned against you they can do serious damage. The Big question of the episode is whether you just want the knife that did this damage or you want a whole set? The Website CUTCO Deer Robs a Bank and Fails Elephants Never Forget

#321 What's the Difference? Expressing Beliefs vs. Forcing Beliefs

#321 What's the Difference? Expressing Beliefs vs. Forcing Beliefs

Today I don't have a guest so I walk through the convolution our culture has come to know regarding the difference between forcing your beliefs on someone and merely expressing your beliefs. If you're religious it seems that you get berated for merely expressing and if you don't want to participate in pride you are seen as a bigot and it seems it is being forced upon us to celebrate something we may not agree with. It's a tough conversation but that's why I want to have it. The Website Tampa Bay Rays Pitchers Refuse to wear Pride Patch

#320 The Sam's vs. Costco Debate is Finally Settled!

Having recently become a member of Costco and going there and Sam's recently I offer my thoughts along with an article that did a deep dive comparing the two to hopefully settle the debate once and for all over which one is better. I also offer some random thoughts about my two days, so far, in Houston and offer my celebration of 50 years of Title 9 bringing equality to sports. I want to know your thoughts, are you a Costco or Sam's person? The Website The Article
