LONG PAUSE Allow the stillness to slowly unfold as you become aware of your body. LONG PAUSE Take a deep breath and notice the peace and contentment that follows the stillness. LONG PAUSE As you continue to breath, observe an openness in your body, as if it feels almost weightless. LONG PAUSE Now, as you relax, notice a ball of golden light, brilliant, luminescent, taking shape just below your feet. PAUSE The ball glows and shimmers with a captivating amber light highlighted with hues of orange and red. PAUSE The ball seems to spin in space and to radiate rays of light as it turns, rays that burst forth like the sun. PAUSE The golden ball moves closer to your feet, enveloping them in a warm, healing light. PAUSE And the ball spins and emits tendrils of light– of pure healing– that touch every part of your feet and ankles. PAUSE After a moment, your feet tingle, as the golden light circulates even more healing energy through them. PAUSE You draw in a deep breath, and allow the ball of light to drift to your calves, where its soothing warmth penetrates the muscles. PAUSE The comforting heat of the ball rolls up to your knees and thighs, relaxing them. PAUSE The globe of light sinks into your upper legs healing and restoring at the cellular level. PAUSE As you inhale again, the radiant globe spreads its aura around your hips and lower back. PAUSE You feel your hips release and your lower back ease, melting deeply into the cushiony softness of your bed. PAUSE You pause for a moment, letting the serene warmth flow through you, relaxing you fully and completely. PAUSE Then, the healing ball moves again, and as the warmth expands to your torso, your body feels soothed and calmed. PAUSE You breathe in again and exhale, while the healing orb stations at your back, generating waves of relaxing heat through your back and shoulders. PAUSE The sun-like sphere pauses at your heart chakra absorbing any emotional pain with every beat of your heart. PAUSE As the healing ball rotates its energy through your chest and upper back, there’s a physical letting go of stressed muscles and strained memories. PAUSE The ball of energy rises to your neck and throat, softening the tension and freeing all the unspoken words your voice held back. PAUSE You pause again, basking in the warmth of the orb as it touches your face and head, warming your cheeks like the sun. PAUSE The healing ball gently exits through the top of your head and stops for just a minute above you. PAUSE Its heated spin slows, and the rays of light dim until the healing ball dissolves in the air. PAUSE And when it’s gone, you take a moment and indulge in the incredible relaxation, the incredible peace you feel throughout your body. PAUSE And after a moment, gratitude blossoms within you– a deep appreciation for all the healing, and magic, of the radiant orb– until its next visit. It’s so hard to tune out the noise sometimes, And find just a little peace. PAUSE… But that peace is coming, I promise it’s moments away. Just close your eyes and welcome the darkness, Let your breathing lead the way. PAUSE… Focus on the steady in and out, On the way your lungs do their job. Feel the breath bring you back to life, Its soft energy a gentle massage. PAUSE… Sink into the sensation, To the blissful, floating feeling. Delight in the joy of a calm, tranquil body, Then let your mind follow its lead. PAUSE… Once your mind is quiet, Once your body has stilled. That’s when angels can speak to you. That’s when you’re ready to hear. LONG PAUSE… The sounds are different for everyone. And the names may be as well. Angels, guiding spirits, messengers, A host of energies working for our good. PAUSE… They have much to tell you, And you have much to ask. But we so often forget to quiet the world, Pushing the messages out of reach. PAUSE… If you truly wish to change that, If you really want to hear, Then make your mind a welcoming space, And see what floats your way. PAUSE… Sometimes they bring you wisdom, A new way to see your world. And sometimes they bring you comfort, Remedies for a weary heart. LONG PAUSE… Breathe in and concentrate on what you need. Breathe out and know that the universe hears your plea. PAUSE… Whatever it is you’re longing for, Whatever feels out of reach. These messengers can help you get there, If you’ll just share what you need. PAUSE… I know it’s hard to believe in them, To trust that they would care. But there’s no risk in opening up, And seeing what happens from there. PAUSE… Isn’t it better to embrace the chance, That you’re really not alone? Isn’t it nicer to imagine supportive arms, Waiting to break your fall? PAUSE… What sort of peace does that give you? Does the idea make your heart smile? Can you drift ever closer to serenity, As you release old worries and fears? LONG PAUSE… What are you most longing to hear from your guides? How can they best soothe your soul? What would you ask, if you could ask anything? And how would it feel to understand? PAUSE… All of this knowing is possible, All of the answers can be yours. The key is in the listening, In the willingness to learn something new. PAUSE… New awareness can be scary, But not scarier than staying the same. The opportunity to change is truly a gift, One the universe is holding out to you. PAUSE… You might really have to reach to receive it, To hold that gift in your grasp. But the stretch is always worth the effort, And the motion gets easier every time. LONG PAUSE… You won’t regret the exertion, Nor the knowledge that it brings. In fact, you’ll begin to yearn for it, More and more each time. PAUSE… There’s magic in the silence, In the space you create for yourself. The possibilities are endless, Once you open that mysterious door. PAUSE… It almost feels too simple, Resetting and refocusing this way. We’re so out of touch with abundance, So convinced there’s no way out. PAUSE… But those restrictions are just an illusion, A boundary that shouldn’t exist. Your angels just want to remind you, Of the truths you’ve tucked out of sight. Meditation: The Angel's Calming Love

LONG PAUSE It’s time to just focus on you and allow your body to let go and relax. LONG PAUSE Give yourself a moment and become aware of your body as it sinks in to your marshmallowy bed. LONG PAUSE Now, pause, and imagine hearing a gentle ruffling of feathers, and as you sit up, you are greeted by an angel. PAUSE The angel’s face is aglow with light shimmering from it every time she moves. PAUSE Her turquoise robe flows around her like rippling waves teased by a breeze. PAUSE And, her wings are layered with silvery feathers that catch and dance with moonbeams. PAUSE After a moment, you notice that the angel’s hair changes colors from a pearl white to a pale moon blue. PAUSE As you gaze upon the angel, a wave of peace washes over you, and when the angel extends her hand, you instinctively clasp it. PAUSE Together, you and the angel embark on a journey, rising above the houses and trees and piloting past the streets of your neighborhood. PAUSE Moonlight bounces off the angel’s wings in a hypnotic rhythm that soothes your being even more. PAUSE As you rise, the world below fades away, and a deep feeling of peace settles in you. PAUSE After a while, you and the angel ascend a little higher, where the angel gently stops on a white puffy cloud. PAUSE While standing on the cloud with the angel, it jiggles slightly and begins to move. PAUSE The cloud transports you and the angel to a river of stars that radiates pure love. PAUSE You dip your hand in to swish the stars back and forth and are treated to a chorus of beautiful chimes. PAUSE The cloud moves again, bringing you and the angel to a meadow of neon flowers bursting with color and love. . PAUSE Pinks, greens and blues pop before you, with a pleasing aroma, a synthesis of every beautiful flower’s smell gently tickling the nose. PAUSE You draw in a deep breath, and allow the flowery fragrance to fill your soul with love. PAUSE After a moment, the angel reaches for your hand again, and you understand the journey is coming to a close. PAUSE You draw in one more breath of pure beauty and love and drop your hand in the river of stars once more. PAUSE Then, you take the angel’s hand and travel back to the comfort of your room. PAUSE Once in your room, the angel places her hand over your heart, and a rush of peace blossoms within you. PAUSE Then, the angel takes your hands in hers, and you feel a surge of love coursing through them. PAUSE With that, the angel leaves, ascending gently in your room while you thank her with love and gratitude flowing from your heart. PAUSE Now, imagine gazing at your hands, and feeling your heart, as you connect with transformative power the angel has bestowed upon you. PAUSE And as this power of love and peace flows within, you understand that the angel’s divine essence is etched upon your soul. The little girl who might still be holding onto pain and hurt. The little girl who will help you remember what love and joy truly feel like. The little girl who wants nothing more than to be loved unconditionally. Honor her, connect with her and heal her tonight, so you can wake up covered in peace. Let’s begin by getting comfortable in your bed, Adjusting your body a bit to release any of the tension of the day, And when you find your favorite sleeping position, Take a deep breath in, Signaling to yourself that it’s time to transition into sleep, And exhale with a sigh, Relaxing your body further into your bed. PAUSE… Be here, And breathe, Calling your attention away from any thoughts or emotions that are lingering, And deeply into your body. Breathe... PAUSE... Let your eyes get heavier, Unclench your jaw and relax your cheeks. Lower your shoulders, Relax your arms and your hands. Soften your stomach, And feel your legs and your feet get heavier and melt into deeper relaxation. Feel your body here...warm. Relaxed. Soft. PAUSE… Imagine yourself as a little girl. Look at her hair, her body, her eyes. Notice her position, her attitude, her expressions. Take it all in...this vision of yourself as a child. What sounds do you hear her make? What scent is around her? What is her demeanor? PAUSE… Now see if you can imagine a giant bubble on one side of her. A dark, scary, smokey bubble. As you look closer at it, you recognize what’s inside...sadness, pain, hurt and fear. So many dark memories inside of this bubble. Maybe you’re seeing within it flashes of those dark memories, mini movies from your childhood. Or maybe you’re simply seeing the emotions floating within it and feeling their heaviness. The disappointment, rejection, or fear. Relax your body and just observe this bubble. PAUSE... This incredible little girl created stories about each one of those memories or emotions. Maybe she created a story called I’m not good enough. Or I’m not worthy. Or I don’t matter. Or even I can’t trust others. Or I can’t have everything I want. She’s not wrong for doing this...it’s what all of us do. But there are stories she created that are not allowing you to live as vibrant as you would like. PAUSE… So take a deep, cleansing breath in, And as you exhale, release the heaviness of these stories, PAUSE... And then reach out to this little girl, And embrace her in your arms, holding her close with love...pure love. And watch as that dark, smokey bubble diminishes, little by little. Hug her. Love her. Hold her. Accept her. And watch the stories evaporate away. Then pull her in closer, And heal her with love, Until no more wounds remain. LONG PAUSE… Then ask her to share, Her hopes and her dreams, And feel your heart bursting with joy. Her words will remind you, That your life has so much more, It’s here for you to enjoy. PAUSE… So take a breath in, And snuggle this little girl, And receive the love she gives you. It’s time to sleep, my love, Time for the night to heal you and replenish you, And take away the guilt. So let your eyes grow heavy, And your body sink into your bed, As you feel its weight upon your soft sheets. Relax, And feel calmness slowly cover you like a blanket, Slowing down your body, Slowing down your breathing, Slowing down your mind. PAUSE… Maybe you feel a heaviness on your chest, As you think about what’s weighing on your heart. You feel guilty, Perhaps ashamed or disappointed. It’s my fault, You hear the voices say, As the shoulds begin penetrating your mind, Like raindrops on the roof, Coming down drop by drop, Burning your heart with their judgements. PAUSE… Breathe in deeply, And let the air cleanse you, Lighten you, Forgive you. And breathe out the guilt, Releasing the heaviness and the pain. Breathe in forgiveness, And release the guilt. PAUSE… You’re a beautiful being of love, And only this moment exists. You can’t change the past, But you can gather its lessons in your arms, And continue walking. So release the guilt, beautiful, And invite in forgiveness. PAUSE… Forgive yourself for the mistakes, Forgive yourself for the imperfections, Forgive yourself for the consequences of your actions. Feel the warmth of forgiveness release you from the chains of guilt. LONG PAUSE… Nothing you’ve done can take away who you are, You are love. And you are here to express love. So release the pain and suffering of guilt, As you absorb the lessons to be learned, And continue onto the path before you, Lighter, And wiser. PAUSE… Sleep, my love, As you rest in the arms of love, And let her guide you through the night, Free of guilt, Free of ego, And full of grace. All those worries, concerns or stresses you may be feeling about whether or not you’re being a good mom. All those judgements that may be coming at you - whether they’re from others or yourself...let them all go. Even those quiet whispers that wonder how your kids will turn out as adults...let them go. And instead, sit in this truth. You’re doing a great job, mama. And you are a phenomenal mother. And your little ones are so blessed to have you. No matter how many mistakes you make. No matter how unique your style of parenting. No matter how many times you’ve broken down. You are doing a great job. So the intention of today’s meditation is to give you the space to swim in the greatness of your mothering. So you can embrace the beauty of its imperfection and honor yourself for showing up every day. Close your eyes and settle into a position that’s comfortable for you. Slow your breathing down, Inhaling just a little more, And exhaling just a little longer. Feel the air come into the lungs and fill your belly. Relax your cheeks, Let your lower jaw release and let your tongue drop from the roof of your mouth. Lower your shoulders, Soften your stomach, Relax your legs. Feel your body melting into your position. And breathe. PAUSE… This time is for you mama. To honor you. To remind you that you are doing a great job. And that your kids are blessed to have you. Breathe deeply, Exhale completely. PAUSE… I want you to imagine yourself sitting in your favorite spot in your home. You feel so comfortable here. You are safe and cozy. Take a deep breath in, filling your belly with air, And as you exhale, relax yourself further into your favorite spot. PAUSE… Now imagine that your child walks into the room. They’re 20 years older than they are now, An adult in the world. And they’re here in front of you, coming home to visit you, mama. Notice what you see on your face as you look at your child. Joy. Pride. Gratitude. Intense love lighting you up. Your heart is full and you hear your inner voice whisper, you did a great job, mama. Notice your chest expand with air as you drink in the sight in front of you. Your child is here, Healthy. And authentically themselves. PAUSE… Notice that in this space of appreciation for the child you have raised, As you watch your beautiful kid in front of you, There are no judgements. No guilt. No worries about your parenting or even about your child. They do not exist here. All that exists is this incredible human in front of you. And a deep knowing in your gut that you have done a great job. And you continue to do a great job. PAUSE… Now take a deep breath in, inhaling oxygen deep into your body, Feeling it nourish and cleanse you, And breathe out completely, letting yourself sink deeper into relaxation. PAUSE… You will never be a perfect mom. There is no such thing. But you are the perfect mom for your child. And no matter how many missteps you may make, No matter how much you second-guess yourself. You are a phenomenal mother. And you’re doing a great job. Let your inner voice continue to guide you through the terrain of mothering. And trust that you are doing your best. And that your parenting journey is yours to co-create with your child. Every single day.
