How caveats can affect the purchase of property

How often have you heard the phrase 'buyer beware'? When it comes to property, we'd like to know everything's kosher before handing over or investing in vast sums of money.
That's where property caveats come in. They're effectively red flags to warn potential buyers of a property that someone else has a claim on it.
