'I Touched His Bones': Interrogation of Woman Who Pushed Her Husband Out of a 17-Story BuildingAmber Hilberling pushed her husband Joshua Hilberling out of the window of their apartment after he threatened to leave her on June 7, 2011. Joshua fell 17 stories to his death. Amber was seven months pregnant at the time. Amber claimed that she didn't mean to push him out the window. She then filed a lawsuit against the apartment complex, claiming it resulted from negligence of the building owners. She claimed Joshua "tripped and stumbled into a wall in the living room of the apartment and made contact with a large window." The lawsuit was dismissed in 2015. Amber was convicted of second-degree murder March 18, 2013, and was sentenced to 25 years in prison. During the manhunt for Loyd, he also fatally shot Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton as she attempted to confront him outside of a Walmart. He was arrested days after. Loyd was convicted of first-degree murder of a police officer, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault, carjacking with a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Loyd was sentenced to death in March 2023. Moments After Executing His 3 SonsAn Ohio man is facing murder charges after allegedly lining up his three young sons — ages 7, 4 and 3 — and shooting them execution-style, authorities said. One of the boys tried to flee but Chad Doerman allegedly told police he “hunted him down” and shot him, authorities said.Deputies attempted CPR but the children died at the scene, the Sheriff’s Office said. The children’s mother, 34, who has not been publicly identified, was allegedly shot in the hand while trying to protect her boys from the gunshots, prosecutors said on Friday at Doerman’s arraignment. She was taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies met with her in the hospital to tell her that her sons had been killed. Doerman was arrested without incident and taken to the sheriff’s office for questioning.
