Wayne Boatwright was a California Lawyer who has since been disbarred. On August 30th 2011, Wayne was driving home under the influence where he accidentally hit and killed a 56 year old mother and severally injured her 18 year old daughter. Boatwright pled guilty to "Gross vehicular manslaughter while driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level in excess of .08 and one enhancement for inflicting great bodily injury on another person". Boatwright received 7 years and 8 months. Since his release, Boatwright uses his experiences to help others and promote awareness about the true cost of going to prison.
