#139: Have You Ever Mistrusted Your Partner? (Recent epiphany)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our lives.

As I was sharing my excitement about it, my wife shared how she didn't think it was gonna happen for us.

That was an odd comment coming from her.

When we had the opportunity to explore that emotion further, she discovered that it was an emotional survival mechanism b/c of all the times I crushed her dreams & goals in the past.

I had a long track record of getting excited & spun up about a goal and then never follow through b/c of my emotional immaturity & my incredibly consistent self-sabotage that would inevitably kick in shortly after committing to the most recent "goal or dream of the week" club.
