Ivy Davies- Update Episode

Ivy Davies- Update Episode

Ivy Davies was murdered in her home in Westcliff on Sea in Southend on Sea in Essex in February 1975. We covered this episode last year on the podcast and for this update episode I had the pleasure of speaking to Ivy's son Vic who has been fighting for justice for his mother for almost 50 years. Vic has relayed lots of new information to me about Ivy's case and the investigation and I hope that by putting these new details out to the public someone might come forward with information.

It would help to listen to the previous episode we did about Ivy's case first, find it wherever you listen to podcasts but also here's a quick link:

Johanna Young

Johanna Young

On the 23rd of December 1992, 14 year old Johanna Young headed out from her home in Watton in Norfolk. Watton is a quiet rural place with little happening particularly on this evening when it was foggy and -3. Her parents became concerned when she didn't return to do her paper round the next morning and immediately police were out searching for her. Two days later her body was found in a water filled pit around a mile away. Police were and are still convinced a local person had to be involved but who killed Johanna? Important information provided by: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/unfinished/id1440019429-The Unfinished Podcast. https://www.norfolk.police.uk/news/cold-cases/johanna-younghttps://www.edp24.co.uk/news/23222205.johanna-young-murder-hunt-still-active-watton-killer/https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-43090978https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-25484226https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-28123229https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-42082948Music by: dl-sounds.comFollow the Unseen Podcast on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-unseen-podcast/id1318473466?uo=4Follow the Unseen Podcast on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/0xWK7Mu3bTP6oziZvxrwSK?si=QxvyPkZ2TdCDscnfxyeRawFollow the Unseen Podcast on Stitcher: https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/the-unseen-podcastJoin our Facebook grouphttps://www.facebook.com/unseenpodFollow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/theunseenpodFollow us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/theunseenpod/Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/theunseenpod?fan_landing=trueSubscribe to 10 Minute True Crime: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/10-minute-true-crime/id1591474862
