Gavin Newsom Warns Media About Trump Trial Coverage

California Governor and shadow presidential hopeful Gavin Newsom cautions the media on Trump trial coverage. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. California Governor Newsom is still on his national media tour, no surprise there given I have always maintained he will be the Democratic nominee… But aside from his personal attention-seeking, he warned the mainstream media against over coverage of the Trump hush money trial telling MSNBC host Jen Psaki he is worried the “overindulgence” and media attention on the trial could give the former president the advantage. He also said "doesn't care if he's the hero or the heel, he just wants to be the star." That’s pretty rich coming from the guy who spends more time touring red states and speaking to the national press than he does fixing his own state.. But that aside, this signals to me that Newsom is still positioning himself to be Joe Biden’s alternate. Why is he so concerned with the general election? Why does he act like the surrogate voice of the Democrat Party? I believe it is because he will be the nominee.
