Governor DeSantis Announces “Freedom Month”

Governor Ron DeSantis announces “freedom month” in Florida. If you’re wondering why Americans keep voting with their feet, here’s another reason. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. According to a declaration made this week by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the month of July will now be “freedom month.” Starting July 1st in the Sunshine State, things like fishing, camping, pool and other outdoor supplies like sunscreen, bug spray and charcoal for grilling will be tax free. Boating and water activities will also fall under this “freedom sales tax holiday initiative.” Governor DeSantis said he wants people to go out and enjoy the summer season and with this tax relief, more will be able to do just that. While blue states tax their residents up to their eyeballs and bury good people under red tape and regulations, states like Florida are doing the opposite. Is it really a wonder people are flocking to free states? You can be taxed to death to live in filth, crime and third world squalor, OR you can move to a state with law, order, liberty and decency.
