Assessing Democrats' Unprecedented Challenge

Pressure is building for President Joe Biden to quit the race, and yet he’s made it clear he’s not giving up on his campaign for re-election. Speaking for almost an hour at a NATO press conference Thursday, President Biden put on a competent show, but his blunders remain the most memorable take away, like accidentally referring to his own Vice President Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump,” and calling Ukraine’s President Zelensky “President Putin.” Now at least 18 Democrats in Congress are calling for Biden to withdraw from the White House race, including Jim Himes, the widely respected ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee. Long-time political analyst Paul Begala joins the program to discuss the Democrats’ unprecedented challenge.
