Melbourne's Darcy Mahady is co-creator of @upstairsdownstairs, a local promotional outfit who have hosted guests like MADTEO, Ben Fester and Toni Yotzi in the past. Their podcast series, the U//D Mix, might only be five editions young, but its smart selection of local selectors has already made it an essential listen. Darcy's deep appreciation for dance music ensures his DJ sets stay adventurous, an engaging ride that might take in 90s dance, electro, IDM, breaks and even Detroit Techno. On a recent mix for local podcast series @neurocrankk, he even explored downtempo and trip-hop.
