She received her MFA in Creative Writing at the University of St. Thomas in Houston as an inaugural Gioia Family Fellowship recipient and as a member of the first cohort to graduate from the program. Currently, she is an adjunct professor teaching a first-year course on the Catholic intellectual tradition at Seton Hall University.
