Perception is defined as the ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through the senses. It’s the state of being or process of becoming aware, understanding or interpreting something, a mental impression, an intuitive understanding and insight. It’s also defined as the neuropsychological process by which an organism becomes aware and interprets external stimuli.

We all perceive life through our own lenses, and we have no control over how others see us. In fact, we only have control over how we see ourselves, which is so freeing!
