We start off by analyzing and responding to a recent Twitter thread from well-known evangelist Beth Moore, in which she claims that Christians must wear masks to fulfil Jesus' command to "love thy neighbor." She also claims that's not a political statement. However, it's entirely possible to disagree with both those statements and still be right with Jesus. While some Christians are now saying that we must all wear masks during the COVID pandemic, were they saying the same thing a few years ago when the flu season was particularly harsh? No? Why not?
