Ep. 85- Let's Discuss 10 Annoying Habits I do & Try to Avoid as a New Podcaster

In Episode 85 of Idea Diary - Today, I talked things I learned about mistakes while talking on a daily podcast.

1. Stop smacking my lips
2. Don’t breathe close to the mic as I breathe in my mouth and out my nose.
3. Get to point fast when starting
4. Pause a long pause after making a mistake for easier editing
5. Annunciate
6. If I feel like I am rambling, getting off topic, or losing the point, I stop myself, and get back on track
7. I think about talking to one person that appreciates me, and all my oddness as I am doing a show. I don’t think about a large audience listening while I am recording.
8. I’m trying to stop using “transition phrases” like SO, AND, KNOW WHAT I MEAN?, SO ANYWAYS, AND UMMMM, & YEAH. I say these words constantly for no reason, and it’s really annoying. I am trying to stop that.
9. If I start a sentence a little confusing or make a mistake, I just take a long pause, and start the sentence over.
10. Sometimes, I will start a sentence, interrupt myself with a new train of thought, and start a new sentence very fast. I try to recognize when I do this, and make a correction if I can.
