#278: American Murder: The Family Next Door

Laura, Jim and Lisa deconstruct the number one Netflix show 'American Murder: The Family Next Door' about the murders of Shanann, Bella, Celeste and Nico Watts committed by husband and father, Chris Watts.

Warning: this is an extremely distressing watch and our breakdown is a tough listen. Unfortunately that's the utterly horrific reality of familicide - or family wipeouts - and there are many myths and misconceptions about family annihilators, which we will unpick across this series.

In this episode Laura and Jim seek to deconstruct what you are seeing on screen as well as identify the key behaviours and warning signs leading up to this catastrophic family wipe out committed by Chris Watts.

Our thoughts are with Shanann's, Bella and Celeste's family and friends.
