Thanksgiving is upon us, which means we are coming to the end of the year ....what better time to reflect and point out somethings that we are thankful for. We had a lot of ups and downs but through it all we still remain. There's a lot for us to be thankful for .... we should focus on what makes us happy and continue to build on the things that are adding positive vibes to our lives. We aren't where we used to be and it feels good.

Thanksgiving was introduced to me as a celebration..an event where people shared a meal and good energy. But, after I grew up and learned that black people were already were already in America before Columbus supposedly discovered America. There are books that explain this truth. "The Primitive Black Nations Of America" and "They Came Before Columbus" are just two of the many that are available. We can just accept anything that is given to us and that includes information. Since we were kids, we were made to believe all black people are only here because they were brought on a slave ship....Its not true. There are black people in this country who's ancestors were never slaves. Watch the series Hidden Colors, it talks about all of this and more. Tune in tell a Playa friend.
