#32: Rebellious PR Founder Evie Smith on public relations, coming out, & cash flow

Evie Smith Rebellious PR and I met via San Diego Comic Con and I quickly realized what a great fit she’d be as a guest! Evie has been doing PR since 2007 and started Rebellious PR in 2016.

Evie had everything she should have been happy with, and she wasn’t happy. She left her job, her husband, and did a complete overhaul of the life that was no longer fitting her. We dig in to navigating life after she came out, starting Rebellious PR, level-setting with clients, business development, navigating hiring and working with friends, and so much more!

Rebellious PR is a boutique public relations agency in PDX and LA amplifying stories of diverse companies. We have deep roots in the consumer tech and lifestyle spaces, and we love to work with defiant founders who make their own lanes to create revolutionary work.
