The Case of Nefertiti Harris

This week, Drewby and Yergy head back to Syracuse, New York, to discuss the case of Nefertiti Diamond Harris, a beautiful little girl who was placed in the custody of her loving godmother, Niosha Smith, after her mother, Latasha Mott, was unable to care for her. Nefertiti, who Niosha called "Tuti," thrived in her godmother's care. Unfortunately, she was returned to her mother when she was just just shy of 2 years old. Like many of the children that we've discussed on this channel, CPS failed to intervene when Nefertiti was singled out for abuse, and during the Spring of 2024, the little girl was found buried in a shallow grave in a wooded area near a baseball field.
