Day 225: Jeremiah 23-25

Today on Meditating the Word, Jeremiah's prophecy of the Righteous Branch, lying prophets and false prophecy, two baskets of figs, 70 years of captivity, and the cup of God's wrath.

This is Day 225. Today we are reading Jeremiah 23-25

Father God, give us wisdom and discernment. Just as in the days of Jeremiah, we have false prophets today. We have pastors, shepherds of Your flock, who do not tend Your sheep. It is so easy to be led astray. Help us to remember, Father, to judge everything by Your Word, and to not fall for the smooth talkers who spread deception. Help us to remain faithful to You, Father. Amen
