This is Day 227. Today we are reading Jeremiah 30-31

Father God, again, we see hints of the coming Savior... Rachel weeping for her children, when Herod slaughtered babies trying to kill Jesus; a woman encompassing a man, when the virgin Mary carried Jesus in her womb; the promise of sins being forgiven and remembered no more, because they were paid in full, washed away by the blood of Jesus. Your Word is written in our hearts. You are our God and we are Your people. Thank you, Father, for the gift of salvation. Amen
