This week Beth and Wendy discuss the case of Wanda Jean Allen, a black woman, who was sentenced to death and executed for the murder of two women. The conversation explores the historical context of Oklahoma, including the forced removal of Native American tribes and the establishment of all-black towns. It also discusses the turbulent early life of Wanda Jean Allen, her relationship with Gloria Jean Leathers, and the events leading up to the murder.
