Money Story | 026

We all have a money story.

I personally didn't even know what that meant until I started my business in 2016. Everyone was talking about this "money story" like it was something I needed to be super aware of.

Turns out they were 100% correct, but it took me years to really do the deep work necessary to uncover my money story, own it for what it was and rewrite it.

That's the thing about entrepreneurship it's a fast track in personal development.

But entrepreneurs aside, our money stories, often what we are taught or pick up on at a young age shape our everyday decisions around money.

It impacts our mindset in the grocery store.

How we save or spend.

How we view others and how we think others might view us.

My friend Wei, from The Money Lab podcast, recently interviewed me on his show about my money story and how I've rewritten it to be one of Freedom over Security.
