Aging, Empathy, and Change: Caregiving and Compassion in the Face of Parkinson's with Lisa Leon

This episode I’m Joined by Lisa Leon, who discusses her personal experience of witnessing a loved ones' mental deterioration. We also discuss the challenges of caregiving, memory loss, and the necessity of self-care. This episode highlights the complexities of Parkinson's diseases, going beyond physical symptoms to explore the emotional turmoil faced by both caregivers and patients. The conversation delves into societal issues surrounding elderly care, shedding light on the undervalued professions of caregiving and teaching.
