Hollywood Strikes Prompt TV Networks to Restructure Broadcast Schedules

ABC has announced the broadcast TV debut of the highly acclaimed MCU show Ms. Marvel, which will air in two batches of three episodes on August 5 and 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

With SAG-AFTRA and WGA presenting a united front, the guilds now hold considerable leverage in negotiations. However, reports suggest that studios are prepared to wait out the strikes until at least October. New Ms. Marvel Comic Written by MCU Actor

Iman Vellani, the actor who plays Kamala Khan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is co-writing a new Ms. Marvel comic book. The comic, titled Ms. Marvel: The New Mutant, will be released in October 2023. Vellani will co-write the comic with Sabir Pirzada, who wrote the Ms. Marvel TV show. The comic will explore Kamala's new identity as a mutant, as revealed in the Disney+ show.
