Chris Hemsworth Reflects on "Thor: Love and Thunder," Expresses Desire to Redeem Character with Another Film

In a candid interview with Vanity Fair, Marvel star Chris Hemsworth expressed dissatisfaction with his portrayal of Thor in the 2022 blockbuster "Thor: Love and Thunder," admitting that he "didn't stick the landing" and is contemplating a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to deliver a more fitting conclusion to his character.

According to Hemsworth, his performance in "Love and Thunder" felt overly indulgent in comedy and improvisation, which led to a deviation from the character's essence that fans had admired in "Thor: Ragnarok." "I got caught up in the improv and the wackiness, and I became a parody of myself," Hemsworth told Vanity Fair, reflecting on his approach to the role.
