Discipline as a Lifelong Principle with Coach Moe Ghias

Discipline as a Lifelong Principle with Coach Moe Ghias

Happy New Year, procrastinators! Just kidding. :) But we can all admit everyone has a little bit of procrastinator in them.

The one who resists discipline a few times a day.

The one who clearly sees the rewards of a routine, of order, and of consistency... yet we almost never make it perfect.

The good news is, we don't have to "make it perfect". We just have to view discipline in a different light.

Discipline is a key component of leading a successful and fulfilling life. It involves setting goals, making a plan to achieve them, and following through on that plan.

Discipline helps us to be responsible, reliable, and hardworking. It also enables us to resist temptation and make tough decisions that may not be easy in the moment, but will ultimately lead to long-term success and happiness. And so here's a conversation between me and Moe Ghias, a seasoned fitness coach to celebrities, authors, and some of your favorite influencers, discussing:

- His early examples of discipline, favorite and least favorite

- Thinking about the positive side of discipline and how to reframe it

- What is the hardest thing about discipline?

- How do our expectations mess with our "average person's brain"?

- What specific item should you CHANGE in order to develop better discipline

- Stories of previous success with friends and clients re: discipline

- When does discipline become easy?

- When you started business what was the hardest thing to discipline yourself with, how did you get over it?

- How we can help other people in developing discipline

Discipline is particularly important in the pursuit of personal and professional growth, as it allows us to stay focused and motivated in the face of challenges and setbacks.

Overall, discipline is a crucial quality for humans to cultivate in order to lead fulfilling and productive lives, and we hope you've earned enough gusto to nurture it through this podcast.

Stress Management for Founders and Entrepreneurs with Kelsey March

Stress Management for Founders and Entrepreneurs with Kelsey March

Let's face it -- the main reason why most people are not entrepreneurs is because the level of pressure, optimism, and hard work are different. The demands and expectations are different. For those who see the rewards to be "worth it", they choose this path and do what it takes. So where does that leave us, entrepreneurs? Usually, in a cocktail of stress and exhaustion, especially if you're starting out. (Unless you outsource and get the right support.... *wink wink*)Listen in as Kelsey and I discuss the basics of stress management for Founders, mental strength, nervous system regulation, and the best habits for a stress-free life. Kelsey helps 6 and 7 figure entrepreneurs streamline their operations and provide ease and support for their life decisions. Something like a business and life coach in one! Let's Talk About Passport Bros and Where Feminism Failed with Steve Didier

Let's Talk About Passport Bros and Where Feminism Failed with Steve Didier

This has been a conversation I've always wanted to have! A few weeks ago, I discovered "passport bros", defined in Urban Dictionary as "men* who have chosen to seek out foreign women, typically from other countries, for relationships. They believe that western women have been influenced by cultural and societal pressures to behave in a certain way, and that by seeking out foreign women, they can find a more authentic, fulfilling, and harmonious relationship. This is seen as a way to restore the natural balance between masculine and feminine energy, and to avoid the "wickedness" of western women."*Mostly referring to American menDefinitely very fascinating, and I wanted to talk to one who went through a meaningful reflection process before just colloquially identifiying as one.Steve, a successful Founder and entrepreneur with a thriving location independent business and investments, sat with me to talk about his experience with women, why he prefers dating women abroad, and personal stories of how he saw women around him change as the years went by. One of the highlights of this conversation was how feminism morphed its meaning throughout the years. Maybe it's a branding issue, maybe it's a reflection of culture. And how THIS, contributed to the rise of "passport bros". Listen with an open mind....and an open bag of Doritos.
