Manny and Nicky are crashing a wedding this weekend.... well, not really they were invited! In honor of these special nuptials, they dedicated the show to all things wedding! First up... Manny comes across a very 2019 tale, of a lovely young couple looking to finally be rid of their student loans. The bride to be took to Reddit to get some advice on the least tacky way to ask for money instead of gifts. However the her soon to be mother-in-law thinks there is no way they are having a wedding without the gifts. The couple thought about accepting gifts and returning them for money. But worry medaling MIL might drop by to snoop. Manny personally thinks this is super responsible of the young couple to want to start their joined life together debt free. Some unspoken, like not wearing white (unless otherwise instructed by the bride) and some so foreign like no posting on social media until the bride and groom post. The next particular story comes from a healthy debate about save the dates. Are save the dates invites? Do you need save the dates? Nicky and manny don’t think so. Although Nicky did understand why people might send them out, Venues change, guest list change and a save the date can help with that. But the extra cost doesn’t seem necessary to these two! What to wear, What to wear? Well they know what you shouldn’t wear.. YOUR CLUB OUTFIT!!! Nicky tried to drill into the audience to think of a wedding more as a fashion show.... NOT THE CLUB! Obviously look at the invitation, the couple usually notes the kind of attire they expect of their guest. If that doesn’t work, just reach out and talks to the bride, she will be sure to guide you in the right direction. And if that doesn’t work, there’s always google!!
