In December 2004, 23-year-old Bobbie Jo Stinnett of Skidmore Missouri was excited about having her first baby. At eight months pregnant, she was still active in the rat terrier show circuit and met someone who had a diabolical plan: she wanted Bobbie Jo’s baby. Lisa Montgomery catfished the unsuspecting Bobbie Jo, setting up a meeting, posing as ‘Darlene Fischer’, pretending she wanted to buy a puppy. Bobbie Jo let her acquaintance into her home, and after a violent struggle she was dead, and her baby had been cut from her womb. Fortunately, law enforcement caught up with Lisa Montgomery, and found baby Victoria Jo alive.
