Mekki Leeper

We met Mekki casually around Los Angeles, and kinda knew him, but after today's episode, he's become one of our favs! Now, surely you know Mekki from The Sex Lives of College Girls or Jury Duty or maybe you read some Hollyweird insider article about him being on the show Naomi's currently writing for, St. Denis Medical, but gosh darnit, until you hear today's episode, you don't *know* Mekki! (Unless you are friends with him already, obvi). Chatting about his Moroccan Muslim mother leads us into a discussion about how his dad "hoodwinked" her into moving to a small Pennsylvania town, some of the difficult familial issues that Mekki has dealt with his entire life, and how the Quar-phase of the pandemic gave him the space to start dealing with these things.
