Hello again! Owl with the Great Head and Eyes is a Canadian folk tale from the woods of Eastern Canada that tells a story of why Rabbit and Wolf are not friends and why Owl has such big eyes. The largest bodies of folklore in Canada belong to the aboriginal and French-Canadian cultures. English-Canadian folklore and the folklore of recent immigrant groups have added to the country's folk heritage. There are no old castles, witches or warlocks in early Canada. However, the creation myths and early morality tales are interesting, and help us understand early Canada and the way its culture was formed.
