Music. How is my music shaping me?

“I don’t listen to the words, I just like how it sounds.” In this elective, the leader will show that the music we listen to leaves an imprint on our hearts and minds. God has designed our brains in such a way that they easily remember words put to music (song lyrics). Music is a gift from God, but not all music brings glory to His name. In light of this, the leader will equip students to discern between edifying and harmful lyrics. Further, this elective will encourage students that God can restore our hearts and minds through the power of His Word.
