THE Wartime Leadership Podcast: The Resiliency of the bounce back expert, Sylvester Jenkins the third. Sylvester is a speaker, mental health advocate, retired Army veteran and author of several books including my favorite, From Combat to Comeback: How To Conquer The Battles of Adversity(https://amzn.to/3V30aY3). Sylvester is on a mission to empower the next generation to rise above their obstacles and unleash their inner warrior. He wears many hats including: husband, father of four, retired Army First Sergeant, fitness enthusiast, self-published author, and a true mental health advocate. Sylvester knows what it means to be resilient through ALL that life throws at him. He grew up in a low-income single-parent home influenced by gang violence in a overrun drug-infested neighborhood.

During this episode, Sylvester walks us through his definition of Spiritual resilience while not becoming a product of his environment. During this amazing conversation he explains how he went from the projects to bestselling author and how a person’s start DOES NOT determine where they finish. “We go to battle each and everyday…on a daily basis”.
