Join us for grand rounds this week where Dr. Jordan Leitch, an anesthesiologist and intensivist in Kingston, Ontario, discusses the role of MINS and BNP in the perioperative setting.


Dr. Jordan Leitch is an anesthesiologist and intensivist at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She is the Postgraduate Program Director of the Anesthesiology Residency Training Program, and is also actively engaged in research. Dr. Leitch is currently running a trimodal prehabilitation trial using virtual care to optimize patients' physical fitness prior to major colorectal surgery, and is a co-investigator on several large multi-center trials including VICTORY (virtual care to improve outcomes in frail patients) and PVC-RAM3 (virtual care to reduce hospital readmissions and emergency department visits). She is also clinical lead at KHSC for the virtual Recovery After Surgery (VRAS) service that follows patients after they are discharged from the hospital.
