Former Inmate Reveals Craziest Stories From A Life Of Crime | Jimmy McGill

Jimmy McGill suffered from addiction for almost three decades. Starting at age 11, Jimmy followed down the path set for him by his father and grandfather, turning to substances to cope with his circumstances. After a string of arrests and releases, Jimmy was paroled to a recovery residence and began a new phase of his life as a sobriety activist. Jimmy is a champion of the peer recovery movement and is leading the way in his home state of Arkansas, which he says has “grabbed the torch.” Listen to him talk about the importance of these kinds of programs and how he hopes to reach those who were “considered unreachable and unteachable” through his platform.
