Krystal Jugarap is the CEO and Founder of the innovative jewelry storage line, BOOKofBIJOUX. Shortly after launching the company in 2021, she expanded into their community platform, EM/POWEREDbyWMN (EBW) which has allowed her to hyperfocus on the brand’s core values of women empowerment, community over competition, and giving back.

Through this platform, Krystal leads an incredible and inspired community of women to gather, lift each other up and give each other the tools to succeed. With Krystal’s natural leadership and authentic desire to support other women, the EM/POWEREDbyWMN community has hosted more than 65+ women owned and led brands through various vendor fairs, fostered genuine connections and provided engaging speaking opportunities through intimate networking events, offered a critical platform for small business owners to share their stories via the EBW YouTube/podcast interview series, and raised more than $4,500 to pour back into the community.

In 2023, the EM/POWEREDbyWMN platform further expanded their mission of connecting communities with women-owned brands on a national scale via the launch of their online Woman-Owned Small Business Directory. The Directory currently boasts 35+ incredible product and service-based businesses across the U.S. and stands firm in their goal of becoming the go-to place for finding your favorite woman-owned brands.

As a mother of two young girls, Krystal has a genuine appreciation for women who are pursuing their passions, paving their own entrepreneurial paths, and consequently serving as crucial role models for future generations of women. She continues to deepen her role of serving as a reminder to all women, especially moms, that they are not only capable but so worthy of creating lives the love.
