A Simple, Potent and Ancient Technique - Sect in Astrology

Were you born during the day or night? This simple distinction can have a big influence on how your birth chart and life unfold. Do you embody a more solar or lunar way of being, and how does that show up in your life? Is Jupiter your greatest helper, or do you vibe more to the rhythms of Venus? Sect is a central technique in ancient Hellenistic astrology and a very simple approach that you can start integrating into your astrological toolkit right now.

How to determine the sect of your birth chart: first, find the ascendant - this is where the horizon was when you were born. Then, look for the Sun in your birth chart. If it is above the horizon, you have a day chart and the Sun was visible when you were born. If the Sun is below the ascendant/descendant axis then you have a night chart.

Day sect planets: Sun, Jupiter, Saturn
