His research focuses on wildland fire emissions in savannas, tropical peatlands, and UK moorlands. Tom is the Undergraduate Tutor in the Geography and Environment Department. Tom is also the course director for the undergraduate Environment programmes, BSc Environment & Development, and BSc Environmental Policy with Economics.
