CA Bans Plastic Bags, Again

California Governor Gavin Newsom is solving the state’s biggest problems..just kidding.. he is just banning plastic bags. I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. Leave it to California Governor Gavin Newsom to prioritize legislation that will do absolutely nothing to solve his state’s mounting problems. Enter Gavin's plastic bag ban! Starting in 2026, all plastic shopping bags will be banned in California. This doesn’t sound like a new idea because California has already done this a decade ago, but it was just applicable to the thin plastic bags, not the thicker style that could be purchased. Now, those are banned too. Supporters of this move say it was necessary because the previous ban didn’t reduce overall plastic use. Hmm…perhaps that’s due to the reality that the bans aren’t making a dent! I personally use a reusable bag and am happy to do it, BUT I can’t imagine living in a state so riddled with crime, homelessness, drugs and filth and prioritizing a ban on shopping bags!
