28. Lindsey Mitchell: How solving a common problem for families led to a blossoming business

Our guest on the Johnson City Living podcast today is Lindsey Mitchell, founder of Mayfair Market and The Table at Mayfair Market.

Lindsey and her husband Patrick (along with their four young kids) recently moved BACK to Johnson City after spending a few years in Savannah. Before they moved to Savannah, Lindsey started a business from home called The Table, which provided delicious ready-when-you-are meals to help lighten the “oh no, what are we going to have for dinner?” burden for busy families. The Table grew like wildfire and now that the Mitchells are back in Johnson City, she’s picking right back up where she left off, but with enhanced offerings and expanding into home goods and gift items.

In the episode, Lindsey shares about where she got the idea for The Table in the first place; the challenge that led her to start creating physical products, and what it was like making meals for hundreds of people in her home kitchen.
