Season 5: Episode 06: Marco Pierre White

This is a biggie!! All cards on the table, the question sheets have been ripped up. I went up to The Rudloe Arms and spent a day with the man, the myth, the legend, Mr Marco Pierre White, and all I can say is that it was one of the most profound experiences of my life.

His generosity and honesty throughout our chat, as well as the day spent together is something I will never forget.

He talks about his humble beginnings in Leeds and tragic loss of his mother at such a young age, his life as a chef and the reputation that came with it. And he expresses his love and admiration for the great Anthony Bourdain, also my biggest inspiration in life.

Marco is a unique character; he’s a romanticist. And the structure of this recording is like none of my other episodes, and that’s why it will go down as one of the greatest moments in my career. You’re in for a treat. Grab a glass of wine (that’s what we did), put your feet up and enjoy the illustrious tones of the man himself.
