In this podcast, Dr. Berg talks about hypoglycemia and if you should increase or decrease your carbs. In hypoglycemia, it is the high insulin that is lowering the blood sugar. Adding more carbs and protein will increase insulin – but adding more fat isn’t. There is no problem consuming protein if you are in a low carb diet because when you increase protein with carbs, you double the insulin response.


Symptoms of Hypoglycemia:

1. Shaky

2. Nervous

3. Dizzy

4. Hungry

5. Craving

6. Irritable
