Episode 10- SN Mamabear, Melanie Oates shares her story.

"Don't forget yourself in the midst of everything you do. Without you there is not much that can happen." ~Melanie

Welcome to Episode 10! Today you will hear from Maryland resident, Melanie Oates, mother to twins, Julius and Genell, both of which have special needs. In this episode, Melanie takes us on a journey through her life, both before and after she became a mother. She shares the resources that have helped her most, her process behind self-care and how her SN experience has helped her to find her voice. Melanie is the founder of Here For a Reason, a non-profit that provides support to SN families in need. Please think about donating to her cause this holiday season.

"But the voice I didn't have for myself before, no... Because I have to speak for my myself and my daughter, and Julius too. I am a different beast of a mom... a mamabear!" ~Melanie
