How to Deal with Job Dissatisfaction? Mental health insights w/ Mark Graban (EP-28)

In this episode of What Went Wrong Podcast, we are interviewing Mark Graban. Mark Graban is an internationally recognized consultant, author, professional speaker, podcaster, and entrepreneur, he has a background in manufacturing, healthcare, and software, and hosts two podcasts. Mark joins us today to share what went wrong in his career before achieving these great successes.

Mark starts by sharing the issues he faced with job dissatisfaction and how he never fit in in any work environment and made many work decisions that did not work out. He shares his personal experience and reflects on environments he wasn’t comfortable in and how that contributed a lot to his personal growth.

Mark also talks about his experience with getting a diagnosis of ADHD and the impact it had on his identity and contrasts ADHD with the treatment of depression and anxiety. He discusses social norms and societal pressure with some life aspects and how those affect most people’s mental health. Mark also shares some important resources for free counseling sessions.
