She worked as a childcare provider for over 15 years and believes the key to a family’s success lies in focusing on what she calls THE TRIFECTA - parent, child, and caretaker working in unison toward common, family goals. Her latest book, Build Your Village: A Guide to Finding Joy and Community in Every Stage of Life, will be published by Beyond Words on February 21, 2023.

Born and raised just outside of Chicago, Florence Ann earned a degree in performance theatre at Bradley University in Peoria, IL. She has served as President and Founder of a non-profit board dedicated to autism awareness and now serves on the Executive Board of the Children's Research Fund at Lurie's Children's Hospital and is a founding member of Sesame Street’s Leadership Council.
