Craig Shields is a builder and a carpenter by trade and tells us his journey from working with clients to working on his own projects to build his Financial Fortress.

Craig, originally from London and now based in Kent, has two business partners, both of whom are also on Property Entrepreneur.

With Suzanne Elsey, a London based Interior Designer, they attended the 3 day Property Entrepreneur Blueprint event two years ago and knew on the second day that they had found their community.

Craig also works with his childhood friend Alex Boyle, and they have been reinvesting their equity to grow their portfolio whilst doing contract work for cashflow and profit.

Craig discusses how they acquired a commercial conversion, how they funded it using only £50,000 of their own funds and some of the issues of the conversion. Using one of the strategies taught on Property Entrepreneur, they secured a 5 year lease with minimal management and maximum profit.

They were then offered another site with planning for the conversion to 9 flats within the M25. Craig discusses how they obtained site, again using little of their own money, the numbers and the exit they will use.
