The Dallas Stars CLOSED out a Win over the Hurricanes! | Evgenii Dadonov injury | Jake Oettinger!

The Dallas Stars get a huge win over the Carolina Hurricanes by a final score of 4-2 yesterday at home. On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey celebrates one of the most complete wins of the season for the Stars against one of the hottest teams in the NHL. The Stars we're really good in different facets of the game, and more importantly closed out the game in the 3rd period. Jason Robertson scored the go ahead goal and Matt Duchene sealed the win with an empty netter. Joey explains how important that game was in giving him confidence in the Stars moving forward and winning games come playoff time. Roope Hintz tallied a goal and Jani Hakanpaa chipped in with two assists. All in all a great night at the AAC. The next topic is about the recent news of Evgenii Dadonov who will be out for 4 to 6 weeks with a lower body injury he suffered against Montreal on the weekend. Not only does this give Ty Dellandrea an opportunity to play on an every day basis, but Dallas may have to make a call up from the Texas Stars. Which begs the question, do we get to see Logan Stankoven of Mavrik Bourque? Joey discusses the options the Stars have moving forward with the Dadonov injury. The final segment highlights Jake Oettinger who made 32 saves in his 3rd straight win and 6th straight win at home which ties a career high. Otter playing some of his best hockey of the season makes the Stars a very dangerous team with the depth they currently have.
